Information stored by the app
The app may store information the employee enters or confirms:
- Name, job and workplace details, optional contact details, and settings.
- Reasonably expected work schedules and school-calendar selections.
- Actual work periods, approved leave, schedule changes, activities, and general work-related notes.
- Work Logs, workload summaries, 301 Hours records, and report history.
- User Agreement acceptance information.
- Optional reminder and app-protection preferences.
Do not enter student names, initials, identification numbers, diagnoses, evaluation results, or other information that could identify a student. Keep notes general and limited to describing your own work activity.
Where information is stored
Reasonable Time Tracker stores its working information locally on the device. It does not create a Reasonable Time Tracker account and does not automatically synchronize records between devices.
The Version 1 app does not contain a runtime network client and does not automatically send app records or User Agreement acceptance information to the developer, a school district, a supervisor, or an advertising or analytics service.
Your device or operating-system backup settings may separately include app data in a device backup. Those backups are controlled by you and the device platform, not by a Reasonable Time Tracker account.
When information leaves the device
Information leaves the app when the employee deliberately saves, exports, backs up, or shares it using device features. Examples include PDF or spreadsheet-compatible reports, a readable JSON backup, and a shared copy of the User Agreement.
Those files may contain private employment-related information. After a file leaves Reasonable Time Tracker, its protection depends on the location and service the employee chooses. Review reports before sharing them and store backups only in a private, trusted location.
Permissions and device services
Version 1 uses only limited device services:
- Optional local notifications for employee-controlled reminders.
- Optional Face ID, Touch ID, or device-passcode authentication to restrict access inside the app.
- Deliberate device file and share controls for reports, agreement copies, backups, and restores.
Optional app protection does not protect an exported report or backup after it leaves the app. Reasonable Time Tracker does not use advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking.
Retention and deletion
Records remain on the device until the employee edits or deletes them, restores a replacement backup, deletes the app, or erases the device. Because Reasonable Time Tracker has no server copy, the developer cannot remotely retrieve, correct, or delete local records. Deleting the app or losing the device can cause permanent data loss without a usable private backup.
Employee control and limitations
The employee controls what is entered and what is deliberately exported or shared. Reasonable Time Tracker is not issued or approved by the employee's school district or employer and does not replace any employment, attendance, payroll, leave, performance, compensation, or other record, form, or system they require. It does not provide legal advice. Calculations depend on information entered or confirmed by the employee and are not independently verified against employer records or procedures.
Changes to this policy
Material privacy changes will receive an updated policy date and, when they also change the in-app User Agreement, a new agreement version requiring affirmative acceptance. A future version that adds accounts, synchronization, analytics, advertising, or other network features must revise this policy before release.
Support
Use the public Support page for current guidance. Do not send a Reasonable Time Tracker backup or private work record unless you deliberately choose a trusted recipient and understand what the file contains.
